Tirne is one of four humans rigorously selected to escort the taciturn god Autumn between the godly and human realms. This year, the enchanted Mirror that separates the mortal and godly worlds shatters as Tirne and Autumn pass through, trapping both of them in the human realm. An endless autumn stretches on, crops begin to fail, and away from the magic of the gods’ home, Autumn is turning ever more mortal and vulnerable, stirring a new, forbidden attraction to Tirne. Tirne must find a way to reassemble the Mirror, even if it means uncovering dark truths and fighting against the alluring temptation of her illicit spark with her god.
