How To Cross A Marquess

Five years ago, Roger Berwick and Fenella Fairclough’s fathers tried to marry them off to each other. Both balked, but Fenella was the one who fled. Roger was left behind at the mercy of his family’s wishes and coerced into an ultimately tragic marriage, though he could never forget about Fenella… Fenella doesn’t know what to expect when she returns home and is thrown back together with Roger, certainly not the fiery passion burning between them… But anonymous letters start to arrive, claiming that Fenella is the reason Roger’s wife is dead.
