Things we lose in waves

Jenny and the world are falling apart. Ravenspurn perches on a remote cliff. Worsening storms claim more land and more livelihoods each time they hit and pandemic imperils this isolated community even further. Jenny returns there from London to avoid being locked down in a tiny flatshare. She finds herself responsible for her late father’s pub and its staff, Alex and Si – her former best friend and boyfriend, now a couple. Alex is still furious about the hand life dealt her and her inability to escape her small town home, while Si is trying to enjoy a life that’s getting more challenging by the year. Jenny’s boyfriend Ben is balancing a vulnerable mother with his civic duty to protest and his long distance relationship with Jenny. Everyone is trying to keep their family together as the world falls away from under them, and secrets are revealed that make this an impossibility.
